And I return to the Job Hunt

Sometimes things just don’t work out. I’m technically still pretty new to the field, and I think I just jumped the gun on the first shiny opportunity. It’s a great place to work if you can handle the non-schedule, and he was hiring before I even left–I actually highly recommend it, if you’re ok with the way the work is clocked. I think I just need more clarity in the expectations up-front.

Possibly the most positive thing I’ve learned is how well I wield the tools of the front-end: HTML, CSS, Javascript. I knew I was competent, but the opportunity the push those skills really ramped them up quickly. I want to keep doing front-end development, and ultimately I still want to teach these skills. You can look forward to a comprehensive set of tutorials (timed for classroom module usage) to start going up soon!
