Chicago Pictures
These are some pictures from when I spent my summers of 2008 and 2009 in the Chicago area. It was very fun and I had a great time. My camera got a lot of use those summers!

Seeing the Chicago skyline as I approached the city for the first time

A model of early chicago at the Museum of Science and Industry

Getting into downtown Chicago

I think this building was on Michigan Avenue, and it looked too cool to not take a picture :)

"The Bean" sculpture at Millenium Park

One of two digital fountains downtown--the face is usually smiling and blinking, but when the spout turns on it changes to this

One of my local friends said this pizza place was awesome, and it was!

Went to a mini-golf and arcade place in one of the north suburbs and found this sweet arcade game

The Water Tower Place is a major shopping mall on Michigan Avenue. The tall building behind it is the John Hancock building, with more shopping and office space.

We were in line
outside for an hour waiting to go up in the Sears Tower (now the Willis Tower)

Two and a half hours later we were finally viewing the city from the 103rd floor of the tower

My friend in the Skydeck--a glass box that hangs out off of the 103rd floor
