Journal Requirements

The table below specifies the requirements to get grades of 3, 4 and 5 on the journal.

You will turn in the journal again later with more updates, so do NOT delete your journal after handing it in.

Make sure your login name is part of the name of your journal folder. Then when you are ready to turn it in, copy the whole folder into the shared assignments folder.

  • Template Setup: DOCTYPE, head, title, meta, body, h1, p (See Aug 19 Assignment)
  • Modified title, heading and text on index page. (See Aug 19 Assignment)
  • First Journal Entry is present and linked (See Aug 20 Journal Assignment)
  • Background color is present with proper CSS(See Aug 25 Journal)
  • Background image is present with proper CSS(See Aug 26 Journal Assignment)
  • Second Journal entry is present and linked (See Aug 26 Journal Assignment)

  • Do everything for level 3.
  • Both Journal Entries are thoughtful and well-developed, expressing detailed or complex ideas from class.
  • Index page has been thoroughly customized with creative heading and quality paragraph description.
  • Background and color styling is appealing and uses multiple CSS properties.
  • Code uses proper indentation.
  • Code validates.
